Hey David, it was great meeting you today.
I'm amazed at the humility you've shown to a bunch of post punk rockers considering who and what you've done musically !

I really like the song we are eachothers angels. I can plug that in to many aspects of mylife..I used to write songs sing and play guitar. I haven't written in a while but if i were to write a song about how I felt right now that song would be the lyrics and the melody so thanks .. I love a good song that hits home and will sit in my head for a while.

Hi David. Just a note to say that the someone in the uk is still tracking your career and music. First heard of you via a sticker in my Aussie imported VW Camper (Combie). Paperwork that came with the van said you had been in it and had toured in the van (for one night at least) with a bloke called Ray and his mates, back in the early naughties. If this rings any bells and your touring uk anytime drop us a line and I'll reintroduce you to Ray's old Combie.

I have been a fan of S.J.Tucker for years. Last night I went to hear her, and picked up the album "Tangles". I was curious as to the dedication on the song "My kind of Angel", and popped your name into Google. I am blown away by your sound. Must listen more.

I really enjoyed your address last Friday night at the Paul Harris society Dinner in Ipswich. Have been looking at your stuff on You Tube, now a big fan. Don't forget to have a look at Lisa Mitchell (Wonder). Many thanks. Past President craig Clarke, Rotary Club of Goodna.

Hey David. I met you at the bus stop today on the way home from uni. I listened to Time and it's lovely. I'll be sure to see you if you decide to tour in Australia again! I suspect from your comments that you're a Christian. As a matter of fact, so am I! Our simple conversation was such an encouragement to me as a musician, and I believe that the conversation was God's plan because encouragement is just what I need right now! Anyway I just wanted to drop around to say thankyou for being so friendly. All the best for the future and God bless.

Hey David, I've been thinking about you and wondered how you are doing. I remember meeting you for the first time around 2002 at MO Ranch for a college retreat. I remember you had a class on how to write poetry. I enjoyed that moment in time and here and now in life I am married to my wife Tracy and living in Nashville TN. Currently we are seeking God's direction really not knowing what He desires. Just randomly I happen to look up your songs on youtube and found your music when you sung at MO Ranch. Anyhow if you can, please drop me a note!

hey there. happy anniversary. (i know it's around now, just can't remember the exact date. also, i just found out that an old friend of mine is out in melbourne. his name is james cisco. i tell you this because he's a very talented singer, song writer & guitar player. the kind of guy that rises to the top no matter where he is. if you have the opportunity to hear him play or to sit down and chat or whatever, it would be well worth it. anyway, hope all 3 of you are doing well. peace and love, barbie.

I came to your music through my daughter's 16 year old friend....I love it! I also admire your work in Guatemala. My husband has family in Guatemala and we've been many times. My almost 10 year old son is Guatemalan. I love the country, the people, especially the children and hope to live there some day! You are doing wonderful things there! Take care!

Dave,
Thanks for your great Easter email. It is wonderful to hear how you are doing and to go to your blog and see pictures of that beautiful boy! Sounds like you have your feet on the ground and are moving in the right direction - though we lovers of your music are still grieving! In fact, I'm opening a coffee house that will double as a place of music, worship, general spiritual conversation late in the year, and it sure would have been nice to have you perform. Alas, we will rely on digital music!! May this be a season of Resurrection for you and yours! Blessings, Nikki

Thank you for your performance at the Grey Eagle Saturday Nite. We hope someone had the forsight to record it for us. We look forwarding to hear about how the Lord is going to continue to bless your family and how your lives will continue to bless others. You and all your family will be in our prayers. Hope your dad is doing better. I so enjoyed it when he taught me New Testament for the WNC Presbytery Commissioned Lay Pastors Class. I think it was my favorite class. He is an excellent teacher. You have good training behind you. I expeciall appreciated when they invited the whole class for lunch at their home. What a joy to meet your mom and see their lovely home. Thanks again and God bless you and confort you and give you His wonderful peace.

Just saw David's last show EVER (or for at least the immediate future :). What an amazing show by an amazing artist. I was introduced to David's music by my then girlfriend and now wife, Julia. His music will be missed but what he is about to embark upon is more important. He can make a difference in this world and I wish him the best of luck in whatever he does in this world to promote peace and understanding. I am an atheist and David is obviously not :) The biggest compliment that I could give David is this: he almost makes me believe in a Higher Purpose and if every Christian was like him, this world would be a much better place. Thank you David for your music but more importantly: Thank you for taking on this new challenge that you will soon face as you go to Australia. May your strong convictions always lead you to help this world become a more tolerant place to live in.

Hola David,
Congratulations on your new-born. We met at the Posada de Santiago. You were with fellow traveler John Smith; we were with our friends from Portland, Bob and Jo Link. We expressed an interest in the fine work you're doing re schools in Guatemala; but I am not sure exactly how to go about it. If you have the chance between changing diapers and planning your adventure in Australia, please drop us a line. Aloha,
Larry

Any of you fans discovered a trick for importing "P.O. Boogie" (the "hidden track" on Hard-Earned Smile) into Itunes? It's so well hidden that my computer can't find it ... and its one of my favorites.
